Religious Significance
The Darbar-e-Aliya Ghousiya is a monumental Sufi shrine directly associated with the revered Qadri Sufi order, tracing its spiritual lineage back to Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani.
Renowned for its traditional Punjabi architecture encompassing breathtaking domes, wide courtyards, and intricate tilework, the complex preserves the tombs (mazars) of seven Wali Allah saints. The central figure remains the illustrious Hazrat Ali Muhammad Sarkar.
Through generations of hereditary khadims, the shrine continues to champion the teachings of Tawhid (the unity of God) and selfless community service. It remains a vibrant center for dhikr gatherings, daily prayers, and its legendary langar facilities offering free communal meals to thousands of devoted pilgrims seeking blessings.
